Summer's Here!

The best $9.99 I've think I've ever spent - the classic slip-n-slide. Actually, this one was on sale for $17.99 and it has two sides so two people can slide at the same time. The neighborhood kids had lots of fun last summer on the "slide". This was the first slide outing for this year, with many more to come I'm sure! In addition to the classic slide, this year we also have the double slide, along with "slide boogies" (little blow up boogie boards to further enhance your slip-n-slide experience).

It's All About Gymnastics!

It's all about gymnastics these days for Alysa. She moved up to the Level 4 competitive team on June 1st, and their competitive season starts in August. We are all about to enter the fun world of competitive gymnastics! It's a perfect year for the Summer Olympics and we can't wait to see who the final team members will be for the women's gymnastics team. We were in awe watching the trials last weekend. Those girls are AMAZING!!!

Oh to be this flexible . . . . .


These pictures are from her gym's annual "Summer Spectacular" show last month. She was chosen to perform a beam routine along with another girl from her pre-team class at the time. She did great and didn't fall off! The uneven bars and floor are actually her favorite events, but she has good balance and does pretty well on the beam too.
